  • Information on the data we hold on you and the processing of them,
  • Correction of incorrect personal data,
  • Deletion of the data we hold on you,
  • Restriction on processing your data if we are not yet authorised to delete your data due to legal obligations,
  • Opposition to processing the data we hold on you and
  • Data portability if you have consented to processing your data or have concluded a contract with us.

If you have given us your consent, you may revoke it at any time with effect for the future.

You may contact the supervisory authority responsible for you with an appeal at any time. The supervisory authority responsible for you is governed by the Federal State in which you live or work or in which the suspected infringement has taken place. You can find a list of supervisory authorities (for the private sector) with their addresses at: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Purposes of data processing by the data controller and third parties

We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy statement. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties other than for the purposes stated. We will only pass your personal data on to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent to do so,
  • processing thereof is required for implementing a contract with you,
  • processing is required to fulfil a legal obligation,

processing is required to safeguard legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest in the non-disclosure of your data that warrants protection.

Deleting or blocking data

We comply with the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation. We therefore store your personal data only for as long as this is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or the various storage periods stipulated by the legislator. After the end of the respective purpose and/or expiry of these notice periods, the relevant data will be routinely blocked or deleted according to the statutory provisions.

Collecting general information when visiting our website

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected using Cookies. This information (server log files) includes the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider etc. This is only information that does not allow you to be identified.

This information is technically necessary to deliver the content of web pages you have requested correctly and is required when using the Internet. It is processed specifically for the following purposes:

  • securing a trouble-free connection for the website,
  • securing smooth use of our website,
  • evaluating system security and stability as well as
  • for other administrative purposes.

The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interests arising from the aforementioned data collection purposes. We do not use your data to draw conclusions abut you as an individual. Recipients of the data are only the data controller and, if appropriate, data processors.

We may evaluate anonymous information of this kind statistically to optimise our Internet presence and the technology behind it.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use so-called Cookies. Cookies are small data files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. Because of this, we automatically receive certain data, for example, IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transmit viruses to a computer. The information that is stored in cookies makes navigation easier for you, and allows our web pages to be displayed correctly.

Under no circumstances is data held by us passed on to third parties or a link created to your personal data without your consent.

You may, of course, view our website in principle without Cookies. Internet browsers are normally set up in such a way that they accept Cookies. You can generally deactivate the use of Cookies at any time via your browser’s settings. Please use your Internet browser’s help functions to find out how you can change these settings. Please note that our website’s individual functions may not work if you have disabled the use of Cookies.

SSL encryption

To safeguard your data during transfer, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Use of script libraries (Google Webfonts)

To show our content correctly and the graphics in an appealing way across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as, for example, Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred into your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, the content is displayed in a standard script.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically sets up a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible here – but currently also unclear as to if and, if so, for what purposes – operators of such libraries collect data.

You can find the Google library operator data protection policy here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When using Google Maps, Google will collect, process and utilise data about the use of map functions by visitors. You can find more detailed information on data processing by Google from the Google Privacy Policy. You can also change your personal privacy settings in their data protection centre.

Embedded YouTube videos.

We embed YouTube videos on some of our web pages. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the associated plugins. If you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection is set up to YouTube servers. This tells YouTube which pages you are visiting. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can trace your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this from happening by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses Cookies that collect information on user behaviour.

Anyone who has disabled the storage of Cookies for the Google Ad program can assume that such Cookies will be deactivated when viewing YouTube videos. YouTube does, however, store non-personal information about usage in other Cookies. If you would like to prevent this from happening, you must block the storage of Cookies in the browser.

You can find further information on data protection at “YouTube” in their Data Privacy Statement at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Changes to our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always adheres to the current legal requirements or in order to incorporate changes to our services in the Privacy Statement, e.g. following the launch of new services. The new Privacy Statement will then apply each time you visit the website in future.
